As you know, blue and white are one of my favorite color combos! It’s just so classic, so crisp and so easy! Today I chose my cropped white jeans and a simple blue button down blouse from Loft.
I love this blouse because it is rayon, which means it hangs really well. I hate things that cling to my tummy (my problem area), so a blouse like this is perfect because it looks nice- and is slimming at the same time! Looking at the photos, I like it better with the cropped jeans and the cuter sandals, and I suggest tucking it in and adding a fun leopard belt to really elevate the look.
After my streak of black and white (and grey and white), I decided I needed a burst of color in my OOTD, so I chose this bright orange tank and paired it with blue jeans and a cardigan.
In my ‘before’ look my straight leg jeans and black ballet flats are a little dated, and there is something about wearing orange and black that reminds me too much of Halloween!
To fix my outfit, I changed into skinny jeans (these are my Gap ones, which seem to be my favorite), tucked in my tank, added a belt and then threw on this cute shrug cardigan. To complete my outfit, I decided to wear these fun T strap black Paul Green shoes. I am a HUGE fan of Paul Green shoes. Yes, they are expensive, but since my feet hurt all the time, these are a dream. They are very well made and incredibly comfortable. Plus, I think they add an edgy/ unexpected touch to my outfit!
Tank- TJ Maxx
Sweater- Forever 21
Shoes- Paul Green, Nordstrom (this is similar, my shoes are a few years old)
On a freezing cold day, there is nothing better than a huge cozy sweater. In my before look, I have on straight leg jeans and left my sweater untucked. I’m also wearing some slip on loafers that are old and frumpy looking.
In my after look, I have replaced the mom jeans with a cute pair of skinny jeans from the Gap.
Since this sweater has such an open neckline, I’ve also switched out my boring bra for a cute bralette from Target.
I then did the half tuck with the sweater, which gives it a little shape and is more flattering. Even though you can barely see it, it’s important to add a belt. I chose this cute leopard belt- just because I always think animal print is a fun addition to any outfit.
I also added a few bracelets- just for fun! (God my hands are wrinkly!!)
Last, I put on these cute boots that tie in with the color of my sweater.
